Summary of testing session.

Testing notes summarised.

In the testing form I listed 6 questions that were given 6 responses, wow !

Feedback on the movement:

Overall the feedback on the movement was "really nice and fluid, buuUUuut, the jumping seemed to not work some of the time".
On fixing this issue I have narrowed the issue down to the ground check that I have being in the incorrect location, the ground check is based off a radius tied to an empty game object which could be colliding with the ground and messing up. (yet to be further tested)

Feedback on the stability of the game:

No issues were listed from people. However with the bugs I have/had/may have in the future, this might not hold up :/

Feedback on directional awareness (camera and possibly background):

Not too many issues on this topic however there were a few responses that I was kinda looking for, they were covering my debate on what sort of background to have. Flat colours or a city scape to fit the cyberpunk feel were the suggestions which I received, however as a starting up really bad artist that might have to wait for a few years unless I find one online.

Is the puzzle element even interesting:

Feedback seemed to yet again, refer to the jump bug which is a work in progress.. I really hope its not a per person issue and somehow I am immune to the bug.. ANYWAY, there was an issue with my scene transitions and on trigger enters which couldn't display my cool gameplay feature, one of the responses said that the "wrong exit" system could become a "take you to alternate levels" system which is pretty cool and could be done if I do a flow chart of scene transitions because MAN I forget them sometimes. Also there were only 2 paths on the second level lol I forgot to change the 3 to 2 in the form.

Feedback on the pause menu:

People said the main menu on the pause menu didn't work which yeah I know about that one and with the build that I'm working on in unity should work on itch.io and if not... man that sucks. Someone mentioned the art work could be nicer which yeah I agree, its kinda just a purple square with two capital 'i's. There was another comment on how it could be applied to escape and it was at one point but I went more accessibility with the on screen option, will probably add the escape key functionality.

Got any overall feedback or improvements?:

A lot of the feedback for this section is improving upon what I have with the jumping and that so that it can be used in full on more levels, on top of that it's mainly "jump stability" which is entirely understandable as its not working fully as intended. A timer suggestion was suggested and that miight be one I add at the end if I have time.. OR after the marking has been done and I am free to work on this till the real Cyberpunk 2077 game is out.
